What the free test includes
Our optometrist measures your distance and near vision, checks an existing prescription if you already wear glasses, and looks at the overall health of your eyes.
A computerised instrument takes the first reading. The optometrist then refines it by hand, so the result is both fast and precise. The whole thing takes less than 15 minutes.
You leave with a prescription you can use anywhere. There is no obligation to buy from us.
Why is it free?
Because most people who need glasses never find out. Removing the cost of finding out is the simplest way to get more people seeing clearly.
If you do buy from us, standard lenses are already included in the frame price, so there is no hidden fee later either.
What to bring, and when to come
Bring your current glasses or contact lenses if you have them, and your insurance card if you plan to use it for frames.

Can I use insurance for the eye test?
You will not need to. The test is free, so your cover goes towards frames and lenses instead. We bill 29 medical insurers directly.

With your prescription in hand, try the three MAMY lines: Essential from Ksh 1,900, Eyewear from Ksh 6,500 and Signature from Ksh 15,000. Standard lenses are included in every price.
